We, in Leozarf, strongly believe that we all have something to learn from each other. Even when one person works on your project, that person brings in the experience of all who are in the Leozarf team. Together we bring you a solution that solves your business needs.

Khalid Syed

Khalid brings experience from a number of different industries in his more than 25 years of professional life as embedded developer and team lead. He possesses strong leadership and technical experience in directing, architecting and developing embedded and IoT solutions for wide varieties of systems including medical, image processing, communication, assets tracking and industrial controls. He is well involved with customers and cross functional groups in generating user stories and verifiable product requirements. He participated in quality assurances practices ranging from peer reviewing hardware schematics and code changes to develop integration and system level test protocols. Justin Klassen

Justin Klassen

Justin is an embedded systems firmware engineer with over a decade of programming experience, 4 years of which has been working on commercial IoT asset trackers. Previously, he worked for Sensata Technologies (Formerly Xirgo Technologies) as a lead (and at times, sole) developer for a solar powered, dual MCU architecture asset tracker that had data, memory, and power constraints. He also worked on numerous other products, granting hands-on experience with GNSS, cellular, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Zigbee technologies. Most of these products were using some form of RTOS for managing system resources. Through his time with the company, he saw the progression of products from concept/design to PoC/Pilot to manufacturing to becoming maintenance of line.

Peter Farley

Peter has over ten years of experience in software development, and three years developing firmware for commercial IoT devices. Previously worked at Xirgo Technologies (later Sensata Technologies), where he was the lead developer for a range of low-power cellular asset tracking devices. He has hands-on experience working with cellular, GNSS, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in embedded environments, and optimizing embedded firmware for size, power efficiency, and maintainability.

Nikita Novik

Nikita first started tinkering with ActionScript for Flash games when he was 12, and has since turned that passion into an almost decade-long career in the industrial IoT space. He has worked in several different industries, such as power grid distribution and management, microgrids, and industrial asset tracking and monitoring. He has held positions as a senior engineer and technical lead with OATI and Sensata Technologies. He has been hands-on involved in taking products from conception to prototype, and all the way through certification and production. Special experience includes work with wireless technologies: LoRaWAN, Zigbee, Thread, BLE, Cellular. Microcontroller-specific experience with delta firmware updates, secure boot, encryption. He is comfortable interfacing with hardware and cloud teams, as well as performing live demos for customers.
